Participants of Astana process on Syria arrived in Kazakhstan to hold talks

Talks on Syria will take place on November 28-29. During the first day, consultations on refugees' exemption with the participation of the United Nations High Commissioner will be held.
All sides of the Astana process on Syria confirmed their participation in the forthcoming talks. During the first day, consultations on refugees' exemption will be held, an official website of Khabar 24 reports.

The Russian delegation will be led by Special Representative of the Russian President for Syria Alexander Lavrentyev. Turkey will be represented by Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkey Sedat Цnal. The Iranian delegation - by Top Aide to the Iranian Foreign Minister in Special Political Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari.

The United Nations delegation headed by Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Syria Staffan de Mistura and the Jordan delegations will take part in the planned meetings as observers.

Also, bilateral and tripartite consultations at le expert level, and the 6th session of the working group for releasing detainees, hostages, searching for missing persons, and handing over the bodies of those dead, will take place on November 28 with the participation of representatives of the Ofice of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees' Affairs and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

A plenary session will take place on the second day of the Astana process.

Astana has held 9 rounds of the talks so far with the participation of representatives of the Syrian Government, opposition groups and the guarantor states of the Astana process.
