Participants of SCO summit arrive in Dushanbe
Dushanbe. August 27. Kazakhstan Today - The participants of SCO summit are arriving in Dushanbe, the agency reports referring to Asia Plus.
According to the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Davlat Nazriyev, the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, will take part in the summit of the leaders of SCO member states as the visitor. Arrival of the delegation of India that will take part in the summit as the country-observer is expected in the near future.
The delegations of Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Pakistan and Mongolia will arrive today in the second half of the day in the Tajikistan capital.
The Chairman of the Peoples Republic of China, Hu Jintao, arrived on the eve in Dushanbe for the state visit. According to the program of the session of the Council of the leaders of SCO member states, tonight the leaders of the states will hold an informal meeting in the country president's residence Varzob.
Tomorrow, August 28, the session of SCO leaders member states will be held in a narrow format and later - in the expanded structure with participation of the leaders of the state-observers and visitors of the summit in the palace Somon on the territory of the governmental residence. After the session the parties will sign final documents.
