President of Russia signed Law on Ratification of Contract on Establishment of EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund

The President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, signed Federal Law on Ratification of the Contract on Establishment of the Anti-Crisis Fund of the Eurasian Economic Community and the Agreement on Management of the Resources of EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund signed by State Duma on July 15 2009 and approved by the Federation Council on July 18, 2009, the press service of the President of the Russian Federation, the agency reports citing RIA RosBusinessConsulting.

Almaty. July 27. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, signed Federal Law on Ratification of the Contract on Establishment of the Anti-Crisis Fund of the Eurasian Economic Community and the Agreement on Management of the Resources of EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund signed by State Duma on July 15 2009 and approved by the Federation Council on July 18, 2009, the press service of the President of the Russian Federation, the agency reports citing RIA RosBusinessConsulting.

The documents were signed on June 9, 2009 in Moscow by the Prime Ministers of the Russian Federation, the Republics of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan. The EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund was founded to overcome the negative consequences of the world financial and economic crisis by the EurAsEC member states, to maintain their economic and financial stability, and to assist further strengthening of integration of the national economies - participants of the fund.

The contract provides granting of loans to the state-participants to overcome the crisis, allocation of stabilization credits, and financing the interstate investment projects.
