President of Turkey accepted Kazakhstan Plenipotentiary Ambassador
Istanbul. March 6. Kazakhstan Today - The President of the Turkish Republic Abdulla Gul accepted the Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Turkish Republic Beybit Isabayev on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission in this country, the agency reports referring to the message of the press service of Kazakhstan embassy in Turkey on Wednesday.
"At the meeting the parties discussed the questions of current condition and prospects of development of mutual relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey. The parties also focused on strengthening of bilateral cooperation and bringing Kazakhstan-Turkish relations to a qualitatively new level of efficiency, successful development trade and economic (volume of commodity turnover between Kazakhstan and Turkey, by the results of 2007, reached $2 billion 364 million and in comparison with 2006 grew by 42.4 %), cultural-humanitarian, interdepartmental and inter-parliamentary communications, realization of mutual visits of the leaders of both states in 2007, as well as the visits of the officials of the parties," the press service informed.
During the meeting A. Gul informed that Turkey supports all undertakings and initiatives of brotherly Kazakhstan, and is pleased and proud of achievements of our country.
