Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia discussed mutual relations in sphere of innovations

The Presidents of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation discussed mutual relations in the sphere of innovations during V International forum of the leaders of frontier territories of Kazakhstan and Russia on Monday, the agency reports.

Aktobe. September 23. Kazakhstan Today - The Presidents of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation discussed mutual relations in the sphere of innovations during V International forum of the leaders of frontier territories of Kazakhstan and Russia on Monday, the agency reports.

"Questions of mutual relations in the sphere of innovations have been included in the agenda for the first time. This is our future and competitiveness of two our countries will depend in the nearest decade on how we will cooperate in this sphere. The work in this direction has just begun, but it opens very good prospects," the President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, said.

According to the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, "today we held a bilateral meeting during where we had a frank exchange of opinions on all questions concerning mutual relations, multilateral relations, the problems of the CIS and EurAsEC and cultural-humanitarian cooperation. The interests of our two states differ by coordinated approach to solution of essential problems."

N. Nazarbayev also informed that during the discussions the leaders of two states planned realization of large projects. The approximate cost of mutual investments will make $10 billion.
