Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia signed plan of joint actions for 2009 - 2010

The Presidents of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, at the informal summit of the CIS' leaders in Borovoy signed the joint statement on Friday, which accepted the plan of joint actions of two countries for 2009 - 2010, the agency reports citing ITAR-TASS.

Almaty. December 22. Kazakhstan Today - The Presidents of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, at the informal summit of the CIS' leaders in Borovoy signed the joint statement on Friday, which accepted the plan of joint actions of two countries for 2009 - 2010, the agency reports citing ITAR-TASS.

"This plan is a concrete definition of the general arrangements existing between our countries. It contains the essential positions we agreed on recently during my visit to Kazakhstan and during our forum of frontier cooperation," D. Medvedev said before signing the document.

As informed earlier, the plan is directed at development of strategic partnership and allied relations of Russia and Kazakhstan. It includes 40 actions covering all spectrum of bilateral cooperation.
