Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia to sign plan of joint actions

The Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia, following the results of the meeting in Borovoy, intend to sign the plan of joint actions, the agency reports with reference to the message of the representative of the president's press service of Kazakhstan.

Astana. December 19. Kazakhstan Today - The Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia, following the results of the meeting in Borovoy, intend to sign the plan of joint actions, the agency reports with reference to the message of the representative of the president's press service of Kazakhstan.

"The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and the President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, on Friday, following the results of the meeting in Borovoy, will sign the plan of joint actions of two countries for 2009 - 2010," the representative of the press service informed.

As he said, the plan is directed at development of strategic partnership and allied relations of Russia and Kazakhstan. It includes 40 events covering all spectrum of bilateral cooperation.

As informed earlier, D. Medvedev will take part in the informal multilateral meeting in Akmola oblast on December 19-21st, 2008 by the invitation of N. Nazarbayev.

The leaders of the CIS countries will gather for the informal summit in Borovoy on December, 19th. The official representative of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, informed on December, 15th.

According to Y. Ashikbayev, the leaders of Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan have been invited to the summit.

"During the meeting the leaders of the states will exchange opinions on the pressing issues of development of regional cooperation as well as the problems connected with the world financial crisis," he informed.
