Presidents of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan discussed expansion of frontier commerce

The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and the President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, in the telephone conversation discussed the issues concerning expansion of frontier territory, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

"The leaders of the states discussed the questions of development of interstate relations, bilateral trade, and economic cooperation. In particular, the officials discussed expansion of frontier commerce, deliveries of fruit-and-vegetable products to Kazakhstan from Uzbekistan, hydro-power questions, and the condition of regional cooperation," the press service informs.
