Prime Minister met chairman of representation of the European Commission in the Republic of Kazakhstan

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, met the chairman of representation of the European Commission in the Republic of Kazakhstan on Friday, Norber Zustin, the agency reports referring to prime minister's press service.

Astana. September 29. Kazakhstan Today - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, met the chairman of representation of the European Commission in the Republic of Kazakhstan on Friday, Norber Zustin, the agency reports referring to prime minister's press service.

According to the press service, the interlocutors discussed the questions of development of relations between Kazakhstan and the European Union. During the meeting the parties discussed the results of the session of the Council on cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EU in Brussels and the first security forum between the Central Asian countries and the European Union.

"The parties came to consensus about the necessity of development of cooperation in the sphere of commerce, investments, energy, and development of dialogue concerning human rights," the press service informs.

According to the press service, during the meeting K. Masimov expressed intention in further support of development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EU.
