Bishkek. June 30. Kazakhstan Today - Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency will be created in Kyrgyzstan. The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Igor Chudinov, informed at the international forum 'Uranium Repositories in Central Asia: National Problems, Regional Consequences, Global Solution' in Geneva, the agency reports citing the press service of Kyrgyzstan prime minister.

"Kyrgyzstan annually allocates the resources for realization of preventive measures; however, these resources are not enough to solve the problem due to the known financial and economic problems. We need a support of the international community," I. Chudinov said.

"We intend to create in the near future an independent state regulating body - Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency. It will allow coordinating the work at the national level more effectively and communicating with the neighbouring countries and the international community. Therefore, we need a support of our main international partners," I. Chudinov noted.
