Representatives of CSTO states to discuss cooperation in prevention of illegal migration

The representatives of the CSTO states will discuss cooperation in prevention of illegal migration in Minsk on October 2, the agency reports citing the CSTO Secretariat press service.

Almaty. September 25. Kazakhstan Today - The representatives of the CSTO states will discuss cooperation in prevention of illegal migration in Minsk on October 2, the agency reports citing the CSTO Secretariat press service.

According to the press service, the session of the Coordination Council of heads of competent bodies of the member states of the Organization of Collective Security will be held regarding struggle against illegal migration on October 2, 2009 in Minsk.

"The session participants will discuss the practice of interaction of the competent bodies of the CSTO member states with the international organizations, the undertaken measures on improvement of the national migration legislations to increase the efficiency of counteraction to illegal migration, and the condition of methodological work in this sphere."

The session participants will also consider the draft agreement on creation of the system of information exchange in the sphere of counteraction to illegal migration.
