"We agreed on sharing air station Gissar at the level of our Ministries of Defense. Russia will complete construction of a number of objects located there," D. Medvedev said.

The leader of the Russian Federation noted that Tajik-Russian relations have been developing dynamically. D. Medvedev emphasized that during the negotiations the parties agreed to do their best for improvement of trade and economic relations, which do not correspond to the potential level of our cooperation."

As for water-power engineering, the President of the Russian Federation specified that Russia will participate in construction of three new generating capacities on the internal rivers of Tajikistan. "We will be engaged in construction of Rogun Hydro electric power station. Our study groups are carrying out negotiations on the final version of cooperation," the President of the Russian Federation informed.

D. Medvedev noted that the Russian Federation would like to cooperate with Tajikistan in the area of development of deposits of gas and uranium. "We would like to assist geological exploration in Tajikistan with subsequent extraction and possible processing of energy raw materials. Companies Gazprom, Inter RAO, Rosatom and other Russian companies have good prospects in this direction.
