Astana. May 21. Kazakhstan Today - Saudi Arabia is interested in cooperation with Kazakhstan in the field of counteraction to terrorism and drug trafficking. The Minister of Justice of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdalla Bin Muhammad Bin Ibrahim Al Ash-Sheikh informed today during the meeting with the chairman of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan Kayrat Mami, the agency reports referring to Supreme Court press service.
According to the press service, the parties touched upon the questions of application in Kazakhstan death penalty and stated interest in joint efforts directed at struggle and counteraction to terrorism and drug trafficking.
"The honored guest has cordially thanked the Kazakhstan counterparts for warm and hearty reception and expressed satisfaction with the character and intensity of the established relations," the press service informed.
"In conclusion of the meeting Kayrat Mami awarded the honored guest with the honorable breastplate Karym-katynasty damytkany ushin - For developing of relationship for contribution to development of international cooperation in the sphere of judicial practice," the message widespread by Supreme Court states.
According to the Supreme Court, the Minister of Justice of Saudi Arabia arrived in Kazakhstan at the invitation of the Supreme Judicial Body of the Republic and will take part in the work of the International scientific conference Kazakh court biy- unique judicial system that will begin its work tomorrow, May 22, in Almaty.
