SCO Foreign Ministers approved project of new members reception

The participants of the Council of Foreign Ministers session of the SCO member states held on Saturday in Tashkent approved the project of the new members admission. The Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Vladimir Norov, informed at a briefing, following the results of the session, the agency reports citing official mass media.

Kazakhstan Today - The participants of the Council of Foreign Ministers session of the SCO member states held on Saturday in Tashkent approved the project of the new members admission. The Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Vladimir Norov, informed at a briefing, following the results of the session, the agency reports citing official mass media.

"The approval of this document at the SCO summit in Tashkent will begin the process of formation of its standard-legal base for expansion of the organization's structure due to joining of the organization by other states, V.Norov said.

SCO is a permanently operating regional international organization founded in June, 2001 by the leaders of Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
