Secretaries of CSTO Security Councils discuss military-political situation
Almaty. September 30. Kazakhstan Today - The session of the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organizations (CSTO) are discussing the military-political situation in the zone of responsibility of the Collective Security Treaty in Belarus, the agency reports citing Belarus cable agency (BelTA).
According to BelTA, the session of the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organizations (CSTO) started its work to analyze the military-political situation in the zone of responsibility of the Collective Security Treaty in the national park Belovezhsky Forest in Kamenetsky region of Brest area.
The Secretaries of the Security Councils and CSTO Secretary General, Nikolay Bordyuzha, are taking part in the session. The meeting participants will discuss the question on joint efforts of the CSTO member states towards struggle against drug threat and the course of realization of the plan of measures of the CSTO member states of collective counteraction to illegal circulation of drugs, psychotropic substances and their pre-cursors for 2008 - 2011.
CSTO includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
