Speaker of Senate met Ambassador of Georgia

The chairman of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan, Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev, met the Ambassador of Georgia to Kazakhstan, Zurab Shurgaia in connection with completion of his diplomatic mission in the country, the agency reports citing the Senate press service.

Astana. January 28. Kazakhstan Today - The chairman of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan, Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev, met the Ambassador of Georgia to Kazakhstan, Zurab Shurgaia in connection with completion of his diplomatic mission in the country, the agency reports citing the Senate press service.

According to the press service, the Speaker thanked the Georgian diplomat for his fruitful work and significant contribution to development of friendship between two states.

Z. Shurgaia, in his turn, spoke in support to continuation of trade and economic and investment cooperation between Georgia and Kazakhstan.

The diplomat emphasized that "all the necessary conditions for successful promotion of the Kazakhstan business have been created in his country," the press service of the Senate of Parliament informs.
