Tajik PM, EurAsEC Secretary General discussed creation of Customs Union

Dushanbe. August 28. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Tajikistan Akil Akilov and EurAsEC Secretary General Grigory Rapota, who took part in the work of inter-parliamentary forum Tajikistan and Russia: Prospects of Inter-Regional Cooperation, discussed interaction of EurAsEC member countries last Friday in Dushanbe, the agency reports.

During the meeting, special attention was given to prospects of creation of Customs Union and the Uniform Energy Market, regulation of hydro-energy cooperation and the use of hydro-energy resources in Central Asia.

Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are EurAsEC member states. Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine possess the status of observer.
