Turkey, Kazakhstan signed memorandums

The Republic of Kazakhstan and the Turkish Republic signed the memorandum of intentions between the Ministry of Emergency of Kazakhstan and the General Directorate of Emergency Management of Turkish Republic and the memorandum of mutual understanding between the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan and the Turkish Statistical Institute on cooperation in the area of statistics.

Astana. February 11. Kazakhstan Today - The Republic of Kazakhstan and the Turkish Republic signed the memorandum of intentions between the Ministry of Emergency of Kazakhstan and the General Directorate of Emergency Management of Turkish Republic and the memorandum of mutual understanding between the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan and the Turkish Statistical Institute on cooperation in the area of statistics. The memorandums were signed today in Astana during the official visit of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglu, at the meeting with the Secretary of State - the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Kanat Saudabaev, the agency reports.

"Our meeting today ... has confirmed special relations between our countries. We have exchanged opinions concerning realization of arrangements and our mutual relations," K. Saudabaev informed.

He said that the negotiations "have been mainly aimed at realization of those strategic arrangements reached during the visit of the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, to Turkey last year."
