Turkmenistan and Jordan to develop bilateral cooperation in fuel and energy sector and industry

Kazakhstan Today - During the official visit of the King of Jordan, Abdullah II to Turkmenistan both countries supported all-round development of trade and economic relations of Turkmenistan and Jordan, in a number of priority directions of cooperation of two countries - fuel and energy sector, industry, including petrochemical, textile, agriculture, construction, interbank sphere and area of investments. According to the President of Kazakhstan, Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, noted during the meeting, possessing enormous stocks of hydrocarbonic resources, Turkmenistan has realized long-term strategy of development of the branch, based on wide international cooperation and aimed at diversification of transportation of energy carriers to the world markets.

During the negotiations, having stated the intention to continue and in every possible way to increase the dialogue aimed at long-term prospect, the parties agreed on preparation of the package of bilateral documents on cooperation that will reflect all priority directions of mutually advantageous partnership. In this context, two states expressed mutual interest in opening in the capitals of two states embassies of Turkmenistan and Jordan.

The King Abdullah II invited the President of Turkmenistan to visit the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Following the results of the official visit of the King of the Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan to Kazakhstan, the joint communique has been accepted.
