Two Russian ships arrived in Aktau port for informal visit

Two Russian ships - the rocket ship Tatarstan and hydrographic vessel Anatoly Guzhvin arrived in Aktau port today for an informal visit, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

Astana. September 25. Kazakhstan Today - Two Russian ships - the rocket ship Tatarstan and hydrographic vessel Anatoly Guzhvin arrived in Aktau port today for an informal visit, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

According to the press service, the marine delegation is headed by Vice Admiral of the Caspian Flotilla, Victor Kravchuk. The purpose of the visit is development of military cooperation between Navy fleet of the Russian Federation and the Navies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The acting commander of the Navies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, captain of the first rank, Ablay Lekerov, met the delegation.

The Russian vessels will stay in Aktau port till September 30. The Russian sailors will go sightseeing Aktau.
