Uniform custom duties of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus to come into force on January 1

The international contracts directed at formation of the contract-legal base of the Customs Union will come into force from January 1, 2010. The text of the documents has been published in the newspaper Kazakhstan Pravda, the agency reports.

Almaty. December 29. Kazakhstan Today - The international contracts directed at formation of the contract-legal base of the Customs Union will come into force from January 1, 2010. The text of the documents has been published in the newspaper Kazakhstan Pravda, the agency reports.

The Interstate Council - the supreme body of the Customs Union of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) at the level of heads of states accepted on November 27 the decision on coming into force of the documents directed at formation of the contract-legal base of the Customs Union.

The agreement on uniform customs-tariff regulation of January, 25, 2008, the agreement on conditions and the mechanism of application of tariff quotas of December 12 2008, the protocol on conditions and application order in exceptional cases of the import customs duties rates of December 12, 2008, the protocol on granting of tariff privileges of December 12, 2008, the protocol on uniform system of tariff preferences of the Customs Union of December 12, 2008 will come into force from January 1, 2010.

The heads of states of the Customs Union confirmed the uniform commodity nomenclature of foreign trade activities of the Customs Union and the uniform custom duties.
