Astana. January 28. Kazakhstan Today - The Administration of the US President Barrack Obama plans to adhere to the policy of presence of several alternative routes of transportation of hydrocarbons. The US Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Richard Haugland, informed today in the US Embassy in Kazakhstan, the agency reports.

"I am assured that the Administration of the US President Obama will adhere to the policy of presence of several alternative routes of transportation of hydrocarbons because it will be economically beneficial for everyone, including the companies that produce raw materials," R. Haugland said.

"As for support to the specific routes, in particular, TransCaspian route, all will be based on a commercial component, no political trends here will play big role," he noted.
