According to the press service, the leader of the state noted that commodity turnover between two countries has reached $1.5 billion "Economic and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey is successfully developing and has reached high level," N. Nazarbayev emphasized. "It is your first visit and I am assured that it will stimulate further development of mutual relations," the leader of Kazakhstan noted addressing Turkish leader.

The prospects of cooperation in the sphere of energy, the questions of development of transport communication and cultural-humanitarian cooperation have been widely discussed.
