410 million KZT allocated for CARICC development

410 million KZT has been allocated for development of Central Asian Regional Information Coordination Center (CARICC) in the struggle against trans-border criminality connected to illegal drug trafficking, psychotropic substances and their precursors. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, Serik Baymaganbetov, informed during the government session on Tuesday.

Kazakhstan Today - 410 million KZT has been allocated for development of Central Asian Regional Information Coordination Center (CARICC) in the struggle against trans-border criminality connected to illegal drug trafficking, psychotropic substances and their precursors. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, Serik Baymaganbetov, informed during the government session on Tuesday.

"The project of the program includes the events and the regulations of the Central-Asian Information Coordination Center. 410 million KZT has been allocated for these objectives," S. Baymaganbetov informed.

"The initiative of CARICC accommodation in Kazakhstan belongs to the head of the state. CARICC has become international center for collection and analysis of the operative information and h coordination of the work of the law enforcement bodies of the Central-Asian states in carrying out of special anti-drug operations," the Internal Affairs Minister reminded.
