44 billion KZT spent for electronic government in Kazakhstan

44 billion KZT has been spent for implementation of electronic government in Kazakhstan within five years. The Minister of Communications and Information of Kazakhstan, Askar Zhumagaliev, informed at a government session concerning implementation of electronic government, the agency reports.

Astana. September 22. Kazakhstan Today - 44 billion KZT has been spent for implementation of electronic government in Kazakhstan within five years. The Minister of Communications and Information of Kazakhstan, Askar Zhumagaliev, informed at a government session concerning implementation of electronic government, the agency reports.

"Implementation of electronic government was initiated in 2005. 44 billion KZT has been spent for this program," A. Zhumagaliv said.

"The base infrastructure has been created."

"Volume of electronic services rendered in Kazakhstan in September increased up to 669 thousand. ""It is expected that volume of electronic services will increase up to 1 million 424 thousand by December, 2010. Quantity of electronic licensors is planned to increase by the end of 2010 from 9 up to 20," A. Zhumagaliev said.
