Agreement on delivery of special equipment for law-enforcement bodies came into force

An agreement on preferential terms of delivery of special equipment for the law-enforcement bodies and special services of the CSTO member-states has come into force, the agency reports citing the CSTO Secretariat press service.

Moscow. October 29. Kazakhstan Today - An agreement on preferential terms of delivery of special equipment for the law-enforcement bodies and special services of the CSTO member-states has come into force, the agency reports citing the CSTO Secretariat press service.

"The document took effect after the CSTO Secretariat, the depositary, received a writing notification on the implementation of all necessary interstate procedures from its fourth member-state," the press service informed.

The agreement on preferential terms of delivery of special equipment for the law-enforcement bodies and special services of the CSTO member states was signed by the Presidents of the CSTO participating states at the summit in Dushanbe on 6 October 2007.

Belarus ratified the document on 1 August 2008, Armenia and Russia - on 29 December 2008 and on 7 May 2009 respectively. The fourth state that fulfilled its all interstate procedures was Kyrgyzstan.
