Amnesty needs to be granted on the eve of presidency of Kazakhstan in OSCE

Astana. September 16. Kazakhstan Today - The deputy of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan, Gani Kasymov, in his inquiry addressed to the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, expressed the necessary to grant amnesty on the eve of presidency of Kazakhstan in OSCE, the agency reports.

"Our country will become the chairman in OSCE from January, 1. It imposes special responsibility upon all government institutions, which will be involved in this mission. We need to do everything so that our work is not critisized. Therefore, I have requested the government to consider the possibility of granting amnesty to our citizens and to release from prison those who are incarcerated for minor offences," G. Kasymov said.
