Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the "Taldykorgan" AGDS and got acquainted with the gasification of Almaty region

Within the framework of the working visit to Almaty region, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, B.Sagintayev, visited the "Taldykorgan" automated gas distribution station (AGDS), where he got acquainted with the technological equipment of the station and the automated control system of the main gas pipeline, and also heard a report on the gasification of the region and Taldykorgan.

Kazakhstan Today - Within the framework of the working visit to Almaty region, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, B.Sagintayev, visited the "Taldykorgan" automated gas distribution station (AGDS), where he got acquainted with the technological equipment of the station and the automated control system of the main gas pipeline, and also heard a report on the gasification of the region and Taldykorgan.

Bakytzhan Sagintayev was informed about the completion of the construction of the Almaty-Taldykorgan gas main, about 265 km long. This, together with the launch of a new gas distribution station, enabled a number of Taldykorgan microdistricts to be connected to centralized gas supply.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bakytzhan Sagintayev, visited one of the districts where houses were first connected to gas supply and met with local residents.

The construction of the Almaty-Taldykorgan gas main is one of the largest and socially significant projects for the region. 21.4 billion tenge of budget funds was allocated for its implementation.

The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan faces the task of bringing the level of gasification of the regions to 56% by 2030. In this regard, comprehensive work is currently under way to achieve this goal.

In particular, in Almaty region, the divisions of the National Operator "KazTransGas" JSC are constructing intracity gas supply networks of Taldykorgan, totaling 23.4 bn tenge, Which is divided into 4 stages with a length of 1.4 thousand km and a coverage of 170 thousand people.

In the II quarter of this year, at the expense of budgetary funds, it is planned to begin construction of a gas pipeline under the Taldykorgan-Tekeli project, worth 1.5 billion tenge. This will allow gasifying Tekeli (35 thousand people) and 9 settlements in Eskeldinsky district, where 23,5 thousand people live.

In 2016, due to private investments, the construction of the Bayserke-Kapshagai trunk gas pipeline worth 4.4 billion tenge was started. Since 2015, the construction of intracity gas supply networks in Kapshagai is underway, in which 1.6 billion tenge was invested. All construction and installation work on MG Bayserke-Kapshagai, AGRS and intracity gas supply networks in Kapshagai is planned to be completed and put into operation before October 15, 2017.
