Central Election Committee of Ukraine declared presidential elections completed

The Central Election Committee of Ukraine declared the country's presidential elections completed, the agency reports citing ITAR-TASS.

Almaty. January 18. Kazakhstan Today - The Central Election Committee of Ukraine declared the country's presidential elections completed, the agency reports citing ITAR-TASS.

"The presidential elections in Ukraine took place on January, 17," the chairman of the Central Election Committee, Vladimir Shapoval, informed.

He said that the Central Election Committee has already received the first reports.

After processing of 80 % of ballots of the presidential elections of Ukraine, Victor Yanukovych continues to lead, Yulia Timoshenko received 11 % of votes. According to the Central Election Committee, V. Yanukovych received 35.76 % of votes and Y. Timoshenko - 24.72 % of votes.

"The third - banker Sergey Tigipko - 13.05 %, the fourth - party leader the Front of Changes Arseny Yatsenuk - 6.96 %. The current President of Ukraine, Victor Yushchenko, received - 5.33 %. 2.21 % of voters did not vote for any of the candidates," ITAR-TASS informed.
