CIS Ministerial Council of Internal Ministry session to discuss programs of joint struggle against criminality

The session of the Ministerial Council of Internal Affairs of the CIS countries will discuss the programs of joint struggle against criminality, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan informed the agency.

Baku. September 5. Kazakhstan Today - The session of the Ministerial Council of Internal Affairs of the CIS countries will discuss the programs of joint struggle against criminality, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan informed the agency.

According to the press service, the session of the Ministerial Council of Internal Affairs will take place in Baku on September 6-7. "The agenda includes discussion of the projects of the programs of joint struggle of the CIS countries with criminality, illegal circulation of narcotics and psychotropic substances, terrorism in 2008 - 2010," Azerbaijan Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.

One of the main topics of the discussion will be consideration of the measures accepted for suppression of illegal migration, the draft agreement on information exchange on struggle against criminality, cooperation in the sphere of professional training for law-enforcement bodies, organization of cooperation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the CIS countries and results of studying of normative-legal databank.

"The overall objective of development and realization of new programs consists in expansion of cooperation for strengthening of the legal base in the CIS member countries, for coordination of operatively-search activities, supply with information, professional training, creation of opportunities for improvement of professional skills of employees," the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan noted.
