Committee on the Execution of Criminal Penalties of Justice Ministry of Kazakhstan and National Center for Human Rights signed memorandum of cooperation

Committee on the Execution of Criminal Penalties of Justice Ministry of Kazakhstan and the National Center for Human Rights signed the memorandum of cooperation in the sphere of observance of the rights and freedoms of people, the agency reports.

Astana. August 21. Kazakhstan Today - Committee on the Execution of Criminal Penalties of Justice Ministry of Kazakhstan (CECP) and the National Center for Human Rights signed the memorandum of cooperation in the sphere of observance of the rights and freedoms of people, the agency reports.

The document was signed by the chairman of Committee on the Execution of Criminal Penalties, Meyram Ayubayev, and the chairman of the National Center for Human Rights, Vyacheslav Kaluzhny.

"The document will allow the establishment of the representative for human rights along with our committee to take duly measures on maintenance and observance of the rights of the condemned, to carry out the coordinated actions on legal training of the employees of criminal justice system, to form working groups of representatives of the interested state bodies and public organizations for development of organizational and practical measures on prevention of infringements in criminal justice system establishments," M. Ayubayev explained.

The memorandum provides realization of monitoring of observance of human rights in corrective establishments of the Republic and revealing and suppression of corruption crimes and the facts of authority abuse by officials.

"The memorandum provides an exchange of information between the National Center and CECP," he said.
