Consent to withdrawal of nuclear weapons by Belarus was a mistake

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, called withdrawal of nuclear weapons from Belarus by ex-management of the Republic a big mistake, the agency reports citing RIA RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).

Almaty. April 15. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, called withdrawal of nuclear weapons from Belarus by ex-management of the Republic a big mistake, the agency reports citing RIA RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).

According to A. Lukashenko, if now Minsk had this weapon, the international partners would talk to it differently.

The President of Belarus said that Belarus has enriched uranium, which is under IAEA control, radio Freedom informs.

Making comments on the fact that Belarus had not been invited to the Nuclear Security Summit in the US, A. Lukashenko said that he was not going to take part in this summit. He reproached Russia that it, as Belarus partner, had not insisted on the presence of the Belarus delegation in Washington.
