Consultations of CSTO experts to take place in Moscow

Consultations of the CSTO experts regarding peace-making activity will be held on November 15 -16 in Moscow, the press service of CSTO secretariat informed the agency.

Moscow. November 15. Kazakhstan Today - Consultations of the CSTO experts regarding peace-making activity will be held on November 15 -16 in Moscow, the press service of CSTO secretariat informed the agency.

According to the press service, the experts will discuss the questions of stuffing, structure, order of equipment of modern samples of arms and military equipment of Collective peace-making forces of CSTO.

The participants of consultations will consider the questions of preparation and training of the military and civil personnel of Collective peace-making forces of the organization.

According to the press service, during the consultations the experts will visit on November 16 the 53rd special peace-making unit of the educational center of the Military Academy of the Armed forces of Russia Vystrel.

Consultations are being carried out with the view of realization of the package of documents on normative and organizational registration within CSTO mechanism of peace-making activity. The leaders of the member states of the organization signed the package of documents during Dushanbe summit on October 6, 2007.

The package of documents includes the Agreement on peace-making activity, Regulations about Collective peace-making forces, and Regulation on operative working group of preparation of peace-making operations and Regulations on the chairman of CSTO peace-making mission.

The experts of the Ministries of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency of CSTO member states will take part in consultations, the press service informed.
