CSTO Secretary General and Ambassador of Italy to Russia discussed cooperation CSTO and NATO

The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Nikolay Bordyuzha, and the Ambassador of Italy to Russia, Vittorio Claudio Surdo, discussed the questions of cooperation of CSTO and NATO in Moscow on Monday, the agency reports citing the press service of the CSTO Secretariat.

Astana. September 1. Kazakhstan Today - The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Nikolay Bordyuzha, and the Ambassador of Italy to Russia, Vittorio Claudio Surdo, discussed the questions of cooperation of CSTO and NATO in Moscow on Monday, the agency reports citing the press service of the CSTO Secretariat.

According to the press service, the officials discussed the questions of development of CSTO, the present stage of its activity, including creation of Collective Rapid Response Forces (CRRF).

The meeting participants touched upon the questions concerning prospects of relations of CSTO and NATO.

N. Bordyuzha, in particular, has underlined that the problems the world faces now - drug trafficking, terrorism, and illegal migration - can be solved only as a result of the coordinated actions of all members of the world community, including international and regional organizations.
