CSTO Secretary General called NATO position provocative

The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Nikolay Bordyuzha, called NATO position provocative. He stated at the press conference today in the Government House of Kyrgyzstan, making comments on intention of the North Atlantic Treaty Organizations (NATO) to conduct together with Georgia military exercises in the territory of Georgia.

Bishkek. April 20. Kazakhstan Today - The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Nikolay Bordyuzha, called NATO position provocative. He stated at the press conference today in the Government House of Kyrgyzstan, making comments on intention of the North Atlantic Treaty Organizations (NATO) to conduct together with Georgia military exercises in the territory of Georgia.

"I would call NATO's position provocative," N. Bordyuzha said.

According to Borduyzha, The Russian leadership made a statement concerning the forthcoming NATO and Georgia exercises. "I absolutely agree that carrying out of the exercises in the territory of Georgia especially after last year's conflict is nothing else but demonstration of support of those aggressive actions undertaken during Michael Saakashvili's regime concerning the citizens of South Ossetia and Abkhazia," N. Bordyuzha said.
