CSTO session of the Ministerial Council of Foreign Affairs started its work in Dushanbe on Thursday, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.

Dushanbe. October 5. Kazakhstan Today - CSTO session of the Ministerial Council of Foreign Affairs started its work in Dushanbe on Thursday, the agency reports referring to the press service of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.

The Ministers for Foreign Affairs taking part in the work of the session: Belarus - Sergey Martynov, Kyrgyzstan - Ednan Karabayev, Kazakhstan - Marat Tazhin, Tajikistan - Hamrokhon Zarifi and Russia - Sergey Lavrov. Armenia at the session is represented by vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Gegam Garibdjanyan, Uzbekistan - vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilhom Nyematov.

One of the main topics of the CSTO session of the Ministerial Council of Foreign Affairs is peacekeeping activity within the limits of the organization. The session participants will also discuss the course of realization of the decisions of the Minsk session (June 2006) of the Council of Collective Security and CSTO of the Ministerial Council.

The projects of the documents on improvement of the normative-legal base of military-economic cooperation, the order of target use of products of military purpose, as well as preferential deliveries of special resources and special equipment for law enforcement bodies and special services of the states.

As it was informed earlier, the CSTO session of the Ministerial Council will be held prior to the meeting of the CSTO Council of Collective Security in the capital of Tajikistan on October 6.
