Astana. July 1. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, said during III Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions the economic crisis will not be overcome without strict observance of moral principles, the agency reports.

"It would be too narrow-minded to consider that the crisis could be counteracted only from the material point of view. I am certain that without changes in consciousness, without strict observance of moral standards and high moral principles we will not be able to overcome the economic crisis," N. Nazarbayev stated.

"Only fair world order can become a basis for prosperity of human society. The work of the International Centre of Cultures and Religions created in Astana should be directed to achieve this," he underlined.
