Foreign policy priorities of Kazakhstan remain unchanged, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev stated at the joint session of chambers of the Parliament presenting the annual message to the people of the country, the agency reports.

Astana. February 6. Kazakhstan Today - Foreign policy priorities of Kazakhstan remain unchanged, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev stated at the joint session of chambers of the Parliament presenting the annual message to the people of the country, the agency reports.

"Our foreign policy is based on understanding of necessity of compromise even in crucial questions," N. Nazarbayev emphasized.

"We should further strengthen economic and political cooperation with Russia, China and the Central Asia states, creating strong basis for stability and interactions in the region," the President considers.

"We expand constructive cooperation with the USA, European Union and NATO to strengthen security in Central Asia. For years of independence Kazakhstan has become full member of the world community, whose initiatives practically always receives international support and have been realized in practice."
