Government accepted program of forced industrially-innovative development of Kazakhstan

The members of the Cabinet of Ministers unanimously voted for the government's program of the forced industrially-innovative development of Kazakhstan for 2010 - 2014 during the government's session today, the agency reports.

Astana. February 23. Kazakhstan Today - The members of the Cabinet of Ministers unanimously voted for the government's program of the forced industrially-innovative development of Kazakhstan for 2010 - 2014 during the government's session today, the agency reports.

According to the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, the program "has been accepted and will be forwarded for consideration to the head of state."

According to the Minister of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan, Aset Isekeshev, as a result of realization of the program by 2014, Kazakhstan will achieve the following results: "GDP will grow by 50 % as compared to the level of 2008, labor productivity will increase by 50 % in the processing sector and by 100 % - in some other sectors of economy, the share of non-raw export will be increased up to 40 %, energy consumption as percent of GDP will be decreased by 10 % as compared to the level of 2008, and the share of the innovative enterprises will increase up to 10 %."
