Government directed bill regulating pricing in petroleum products market to Parliament

The members of the Cabinet of Ministers passed and directed to the Parliament the bill on state regulation and turnover of oil and mineral oil today during the government session, the agency reports.

Astana. February 23. Kazakhstan Today - The members of the Cabinet of Ministers passed and directed to the Parliament the bill on state regulation and turnover of oil and mineral oil today during the government session, the agency reports.

According to the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan, Sauat Mynbaev, the bill is aimed at realization of the assignments of the head of state regarding stabilization of the prices in the petroleum products market in Kazakhstan. The Energy Minister explained that the bill "will reflect the market realities, including dynamics of the prices in the Russian Federation, as Kazakhstan imports 40 % of high-octane gasoline (AI 92, 93) from Russia.

"The document is directed "first of all, to completely satisfy the demand for mineral oil of the Kazakhstan market by 2014."
