Astana. September 23. Kazakhstan Today - The government of Kazakhstan does not intend to increase the tax on extraction of mineral resources. Vice Minister of Economy and Budgetary Planning of Kazakhstan, Timur Suleymenov, informed during the round table during Kazakhstan Energy Week, the agency reports.

"The tax on extraction of mineral resources will increase along with decrease of the corporate income tax. The government has been fair: we have kept the status quo: we have not increased the tax rate on extraction of mineral resources in spite of the fact that tax revenues and the budget revenues would be handy," T. Suleymenov said.
