Government to direct funds to support economic growth

The government of Kazakhstan has made a decision to direct the resources from the Fund of stressful assets to support economic growth. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, informed during the session of Nur Otan Party faction on Monday, the agency reports.

Astana. October 20. Kazakhstan Today - The government of Kazakhstan has made a decision to direct the resources from the Fund of stressful assets to support economic growth. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, informed during the session of Nur Otan Party faction on Monday, the agency reports.

"20 billion KZT from the fund and 8.5 billion KZT from other co-financing banks will be directed for refinancing of standard credits in the manufacturing industry at the rate of 8 % annual," the Prime Minister explained. "This rate is almost twice as little than the market's. This loan rate during the crisis is the lowest in the CIS."

As informed earlier, Kazakhstan government accepted the decision on undertaking of additional measures to support the processing sector and the decision to solve the problems in the real estate market.

As a whole, about 50 billion KZT will be directed for financing of the investment projects.
