International expert considers Kazakhstan a suitable country for hosting nuclear fuel bank

An employee of the Hudson Institute Center for Political-Military Analysis, Richard Weitz, said during the international conference in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan that he considers Kazakhstan a suitable country for hosting nuclear fuel bank, the agency reports.

Kazakhstan Today - An employee of the Hudson Institute Center for Political-Military Analysis, Richard Weitz, said during the international conference in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan that he considers Kazakhstan a suitable country for hosting nuclear fuel bank, the agency reports.

"Some states suggested IAEA to create uranium fuel bank and define a country which will be suitable for this purpose."

"Kazakhstan may be that country that will host a nuclear fuel bank because it has good mutual relations with Iran and Russia and partner relations in this area with the USA."
