IPA CIS observers noted high level of organization of elections in Russia

The coordinator mission of observers of CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly - vice-Speaker of Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Zhumagulov noted high level of organization of elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

Astana. November 20. Kazakhstan Today - The coordinator mission of observers of CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly - vice-Speaker of Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Zhumagulov noted high level of organization of elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

"All possible has been done so that the political parties, participating in the elections, could carry out their work. The Russian electoral system is progressive," B. Zhumagulov said, following the results of the meetings with the Russian officials.

According to the press service of Nur Otan Party, in Moscow B. Zhumagulov met the leader of Unified Russia Party Boris Gryzlov, the first vice president of the United Russia Party Vladimir Pehtin, the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Vladimir Zhirinovsky and the Motherland National-Patriotic Union Gennady Seleznev. He held the meetings with the first deputy chairman of the fraction of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Sergey Rishulskiy, the first deputy chairman of the fraction Unified Russia Valery Bogomolov and the member of the fraction Just Russia Sergey Grigoriev.

During the meetings B. Zhumagulov compared preparation and elections in Russia and the elections in Brussels and noted openness of the Russian election campaign.
