Justice Ministry held session devoted to quality of billing work

The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan held the expanded session of the interdepartmental commission concerning law making activity at the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the agency reports referring to Justice Ministry press service.

Astana. August 27. Kazakhstan Today - The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan held the expanded session of the interdepartmental commission concerning law making activity at the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the agency reports referring to Justice Ministry press service.

During the session the participants discussed the questions of improvement of quality of law making activity of the government and the results of execution of the plan of billing work of the government for 2008.

According to Vice Minister of Justice, Dulat Kustavletov, the Ministry of Justice along with Nur Otan Party are carrying on the work on preparation of the "laws of direct action" to realiaze the goal set by the leader of the state on preparation of the laws of the new generation and the programs of the government for 2007 - 2009.

According to the press service, the Ministry of Justice creates working group that will study the operating national legislation with the purpose of revealing of out-of-date norms or presence of plurality of acts regulating similar legal relations. The results of this work will be realized within the limits of activity on formation of projects of the plan of billing works of the government for 2009 and a long-term plan of billing works for 2010 - 2011.

The concepts of bills on amendments and additions to Laws on State Purchases and on Peace-Making Activity were also discussed at the session.
