Kazakh Ambassador completed diplomatic mission in Thailand

Astana. August 2. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan Ambassador Bakhitbek Shabarbaev completed the diplomatic mission as the Charge d'Affaires ad interim in affairs of Kazakhstan in Thailand and permanent representative of the United Nation Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), Kazakh MFA press service informed.

B. Shabarbayev met Kim Hak-Su, UN deputy Secretary General, UNESCAP Executive Secretary.

"During the meeting the parties discussed questions of cooperation of Kazakhstan with UNESCAP and the plans of realization of the Special UN Program for Central Asian countries.

B. Shabarbayev met Foreign Minister of Thailand Kantati Supamongkhon. The diplomats discussed questions of bilateral Kazakh-Thai cooperation and relations within the framework of CICMA and Asian dialogue on cooperation.

As it was informed earlier, in June, 2006, B. Shabarbayev was appointed the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
