Kazakh PM held a number of meetings with chairmen of foreign companies

Almaty. December 5. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held a number of meetings with chairmen of the large foreign companies in Almaty, the agency reports citing the prime minister's press service.

According to the press service, K. Masimov discussed prospects of activity of ConocoPhillips Company in Kazakhstan with the chairman of board of the company and the Chief Executive Director of ConocoPhillips in Kazakhstan, James Malva.

"The interlocutors exchanged opinions concerning further participation of ConocoPhillips in the projects in the territory of the Republic, in particular, the forthcoming partnership ConocoPhillips with JSC National Company KazMunaiGas and Mubadala Development Company within the limits of the joint operational company," the press service informs.

According to the press service, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan met the group of representatives of Total Corporation headed by its Executive Vice President, Yves-Louis Darricarr?re.

During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the prospects of activity and the new opportunities of development of cooperation of the company in the project on development of Kashagan deposit.

"Total is ready to develop close cooperation with its Kazakhstan partner," Yves-Louis Darricarr?re said.

According to the prime minister's press service, in end of the meeting K. Masimov expressed confidence in further development of mutually advantageous cooperation.
