Kazakh PM received Ambassador of Netherlands

Astana. August 4. Kazakhstan Today - Today Kazakh PM Daniyal Akhmetov received the Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands to Kazakhstan Peter van Leeuwen in connection with the completion of his diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan. Kazakh government press service informed the agency.

"The government of Kazakhstan positively estimates development of economic relations with the Kingdom of Netherlands, the most active investors of Kazakhstan economy," he noted.

Prime Minister considers nuclear, biotechnologies, and other spheres of economy diversification the perspective directions of economic cooperation.

Noting high rates of development of Kazakhstan economy, Peter van Leeuwen expressed confidence that further deepening of mutual relations in the spheres of construction, transport, environment protection and agriculture are highly possible to take place.

In the end of the meeting Kazakh PM congratulated the Ambassador on successful completion of diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan and wished further successes.

Peter van Leeuwen was the Ambassador of the Kingdom in Kazakhstan since November, 2002.

In 2005 commodity circulation between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands made $1018.34 million (export - $877.84 million, import - $140.5 million).
