Kazakh President, Prime Minister of Japan to discuss reforming of UN Security Council

Astana. August 22. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and the Prime Minister of Japan will discuss reforming of UN Security Council of the United Nations Organization during Junichiro Koizumi official visit to Kazakhstan. The Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of Japan to Kazakhstan Tetsuo Ito informed today at the briefing, the agency reports.

During the meeting the parties discussed international situation, especially questions of reforming of UN Security Council, T. Ito said.

According to T. Ito, the President of Kazakhstan and the Prime Minister of Japan will discuss promotion of dialogue Central Asia + Japan, the situation in the Central-Asian region and the questions of mutual relations, including, cooperation in economic sphere.

According to the Ministry of Finance of Japan, volume of commodity circulation between Kazakhstan and Japan by the results of 2005 made $512 million, volume of investments of Japan in the economy of Kazakhstan from 1993 until 2005 - $1 billion.
