Kazakhstan Ambassador to Russia met Russian Foreign Minister

The Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Russia Nurtay Abykayev met the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov in Moscow on Wednesday, the agency reports referring to the press service of Kazakhstan embassy in the Russian Federation.

Kazakhstan Today - The Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Russia Nurtay Abykayev met the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov in Moscow on Wednesday, the agency reports referring to the press service of Kazakhstan embassy in the Russian Federation.

According to the press service, during the talks N. Abykayev handed over S. Lavrov the invitation to take part in the forum of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of moslem and western countries - Common World: to Progress through Diversity planned for October, 2008 in Astana.

"The exchange of opinions on the course of realization of the plan of joint actions of Kazakhstan and Russia for 2007 - 2008 (Motoring map) and on the questions concerning interaction within the limits of integration associations in international and regional affairs took place," the message states.

S. Lavrov informed the ambassador on the course of campaign of the presidential elections in Russia.
